Title: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: professor on April 28, 2012, 10:42:57 AM When you run mafless, with ltft's disabled, lambda correction on idle, shown on block 1 or 99, in what values should vary?
I see +20%. Is logical? Stft's are around +5% now with mafless. Before mafless lftt's where 0.8-1.2% and stft's -0.2%. Title: Re: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: RS-MAD on April 29, 2012, 01:59:39 AM You can tweak that , Im making my mods in +-7% range.
But if your long adapt is off , then I think there is no problem ..... Title: Re: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: professor on April 29, 2012, 03:10:59 PM Any hint how to tweak it?

If that's what you want, just go standalone Title: Re: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: RS-MAD on May 01, 2012, 12:27:37 PM I still see absolutely no good reason to run a MAFless setup. Find me standalone with Bosch like knock control , 100% checked and I will buy it :)If that's what you want, just go standalone Title: Re: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: s5fourdoor on May 01, 2012, 01:01:57 PM fill me in here. there are a number of top b5 s4's which use the me 7.1, aftermarket maf's, and push out 800+ hp. i'm 100% with nyet in this boat. what is the gain of this? i see zero gain from this... get a rs4 maf and stop trying to over-engineer.

ME7 is not only on thoose 2.7T , Im blowing stock maf like a crap on some of my engines . If you want to stop to over-engineer then buy a TDI and drive safe ;) Title: Re: Mafless and lambda correction B1 on idle Post by: s5fourdoor on May 03, 2012, 11:23:59 AM ok i'm going to stand back and just watch this thread, because while i'm critical i do find it interesting.
my point is that you can make 800whp with the maf, why bother eliminating it and dealing with hacks to repair a maf-intended ecu. |
