I am looking to mainly disable the SAI system. I have purchased the PCM Flash dongle, software, and module for this car, and have a J2534 passthrough that I want to try with this software before purchasing OpenPort 2.0. Only thing I am realizing, is that I will need the definition file for the ProTuner software in order to change thresholds. Does anyone have the mapping for this vehicle they could share, or at least the location of the SAI values? Also, is PCM Flash, apart from bFlash, KESSV2, the only way to read and write to the ECU? Post by: garagebuilt on July 19, 2021, 06:44:51 PM Magic will also write the 8.51 OBD, bFlash won’t do certain 8.51 due to “unknown ECU type”.
Most of the SAI mapping is stored in the 0411xx range, at least in the 551F hardware. I don’t have a 551E to reference offhand unfortunately. Tunerpro definitions for SIMOS are not really out there, unless someone wants to export an XDF from WinOLS, which would require a plug-in and not really worth it if you have WinOLS to begin with (not sure how accurate they would be considering this feature is still in beta). End of the day you might be better off buying WinOLS and getting a good set of maps (and maybe an FR to limit the trial and error). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
