Title: A4 B5 1.8T 8D0 907 557 T M3.8.2
Post by: usuarionuevo on December 09, 2020, 08:53:15 AM
Hello guys. I have some questions about the ECU.
I have read a lot about the ecu 3.8.2 but several things are not clear to me ... what if I am clear is that you have to put a socket, which I already have. but how do I read the chip and the second how do I write the new map on a blank chip. what is the process? do you have to do it in the bank, via obd? These 2 queries are not clear to me. Please someone help me. a hug.

No possibility to read or write through OBD.
To read old (no need - can find ori dump in the net) and write new chip use external programmer which is able to work with 27C1024 eprom chips in PLCC44 package.
Like this one as example.

No.
For all chip types (27c1024/27c210/27F102/AT29c1024)
the only possibility is external programmer.
