Title: Golf mk4 AUQ MLHFM axis adress/values
Post by: timo_auq on December 28, 2020, 09:39:32 AM
hey guys,
I'm reading and learning in this forum for decent time now, but now I got a question about the AUQ 06A906032HN files.

Car is a 2002 Golf mk4 with AUQ engine, to be upgraded with k04-022 and s3 MAF housing+injectors.

It's about the axis data/values of MLHFM (adress 0x14534) 512x1 16bit. The values on the axis are all 0's, the axis is not even defined (no adress..), the map it self seems to be fine. (161,60 up to 1005,60).

Also I've looked at a s3 BAM file, where MLHFM starts at 148,00 and goes up to 1253,30, which for I found verification in another thread.

Are those values correct? When I don't see the axis data in both xdf's, I don't feel like taking the values from the s3 file, because the first value is lower than 161,6.

Can someone please tell me the axis adress/values for the AUQ xdf and bin, or at least how I can find them?  ???  ???

thanks in advance.

Values for axis are constants. They must be put manual insert in xdf.

copy and paste in your axis

copy and paste in your axis

so i'm back to this project.
I've tried to paste the axis data you posted into xdf parameter info, but as soon as try to apply the changes it goes back to 0.

Atm it doesnt seem necesarry to see the axis values. What interesting me the most is how you calculate the maf housing scaling.

AUQ MAF goes from ca. 161 to 1005 but BAM MAF is from 148 to 1253

So in AUQ File 0,0098 V = 161.6 // 4,9902 V = 1005 kg/h
and in BAM 0,0098 V = 148 // 4,9902 V = 1253 kg/h

Are the constants set to the same value in equal steps in both files? I roughly understand how a MAF works but I dont understand how a smaller air mass can have the same effect on the voltage in a bigger housing. Please give me a jump start, I'm still confused. ???

I used the MAF Adjust tool and it gave me values starting at 147.2 going up to 1299.9 calculated from 73 to 83mm. So pretty close to the BAM values.
