Title: Difference between CAN bus for RNS-D and RNS-E
Post by: BlackT on March 26, 2021, 11:16:48 AM
What is difference between CAN-BUS communication for RNS-D, and RND-E
RNS D use TMC tuner to convert CAN-BUS signal from cluster to RNS-D.  In elsa that signal is labeled as CAN-BUS(BOSCH)

RNS-E is connected directly to navigation CAN-BUS in cluster

I checked with osciloscope signal before(RNS-D send) and after TMC tuner.(schould be same signal that RNS-E use)
Far as I can see these are both 100 kbs, and ISO 11898-3
