Title: Audi TT Mk1 Bench Key Programming
Post by: JakeGT on March 27, 2021, 08:34:50 AM
Hi,

Does anyone know if I need anything else connected on the bench to allow me to adapt new keys?

Currently have cluster, ECU & key all matched & wired up. Whenever I try to adapt a new key in VCDS I get an error on Channel 21. I've followed the process correctly but can't figure it out  ???

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

If it is a immo 3, than you need a new keys, or put new ID48 chip in old keys.

You can use old keys, but only with pin from that car

to adapt keys on bench obvs need ECU and CLUSTER rig connected/joined (this setup pairs ecu /cluster/keys)..u you need the chip reader ring from barrel connected to ECU and cluster (i dont have CAN wires connected for edc 15 me7)..immo 3 u need SKC for old keys or new id48 chip (as stated above) or u can use a immo2 key as these are unlocked untill paired to immo 3..
