Title: Need help with bigger MAF housing on ME7.1.1 ST10F27x - Audi A3 R32 022906032KB Post by: 3Wtrs on March 29, 2021, 02:45:33 PM Hi guys,
currently i'm about to tune my a3 r32 with a turbo setup. I'm completely new in recalibrate the MAF, escpeally on this sw version with MSHFMU. Is tuning MSHFMU the same as MLHFM? I found some good information on the forum (e.g. from Thanos - http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=13073.msg108003#msg108003) - but i'm a bit off where and how to start. My idea would be: Rescale MSHFMU by cross-section, resize B_minflr and B_maxflr and then follow the path from https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning. Would be happy if someone can give me some hints if i'm on the right way or completely off and take a look in my definition. Thanks. What will you do when turbo start to build boost and your load go past 100%? What will you do when turbo start to build boost and your load go past 100%? He already has a custom patch for that... Just use the scaling from the car that actually had the maf..If you got the maf i told you you will be able to find it... For MAF you could just get a file that had your maf and take the scaling from there. PRJ recently released custom pid for na me7's , if you got the necessary assembly and c167 knowledge you can implement it heh. I can't follow you nyet, where is the problem? Go standalone or use a real motor with a ME7 ECU that supports binaries compiled with SY_TURBO If you do not know what SY_TURBO is, full stop. The daily usability was far away from usable and the missing CAN messages for the car a nightmare. If you do not know what SY_TURBO is, full stop. So, instead of reply to the original request you just want to be bitchy and tell me not use this ECU for turbo application? But i assume it would be too easy to give the people useful information. Also if i'm not a skilled ASM yet, the day maybe will come. This forum is a good place to learn :) However, in the meantime i found a bigger MAF housing on the S4 8E (ME7.1.1 ST10F27) + suitable MSHFMU (129x1) map. That should do the work. The daily usability was far away from usable and the missing CAN messages for the car a nightmare. Result is equally shit without pro tuner and equipment, regardless of ecu. CAN messages can be constructed with proper hardware, sounds like you didn't have it. I'm not sure if you have any experience in this topic, but in my experience it is a nightmare emulating CAN messages with additional controllers in a 2007+ car. this is the wrong project to learn ASM on, you really should start with something a little less extreme, like multimap or NLS That was not a part of the initial request, learning ASM. I just wanted some information about MSHFMU. MLHFM has just more of them. Build a simple Excel sheet to fit MLHFM into MSHFM, job done. Depending on the axis you can either just discard 3/4 of them, or you will need to run some linear interpolation. This stuff is utterly trivial. |
