Title: KFMDS and how to properly scale it for different axis? Post by: masterj on May 10, 2012, 05:49:34 PM Title says it all :)
KFMIOP shares same load axis with: KFZWOP KFZWOP2 KFMDS So how to properly scale KFMDS to new axis? Should I just increase the values by same percentage that load is different from original? Original KFMDS at 480RPM and original load 100 was 3.3511. What would be KFMDS at the same RPM point but rescaled load (load 159; 480RPM)? So what I'm thinking is this: The're is 59% increase in load so the engine drag should also be increased by 59%. Am I right or wrong on this? TIA Title: Re: KFMDS and how to properly scale it for different axis? Post by: automan001 on July 04, 2013, 03:35:25 PM I'm trying to find an answer on same question. Compared several engines, it appears the more load they have the lower value they put.
Compare KFMDS in S4 and RS4. Load axis increased from 191,2500 to 199,9965 (+5%) but KFMDS values non-lineary lowered, i.e. -10% at highest RPM till -30% at lowest RPM Title: Re: KFMDS and how to properly scale it for different axis? Post by: masterj on July 05, 2013, 03:48:53 AM I already have answer for this old question :) Basically you would have to create some sort of interpolator ;)
