Title: Bench setup suggestions Post by: Sandstorm3k on July 03, 2021, 10:40:06 AM I've got another extremely noob question - i know how to do boot mode using various tools. But i simply cannot get a read or write to the EEPROM on my bench.
Perhaps anyone could shed some light on how to wire this up properly, as i've tried various things for over a few hours now and i can't find a proper answer. I've got all the hardware required, and have made my own "harnass" as far as i thought is required, but it will simply not work. Do not forget pin 21 (and 121 if you planning to flash in obd mode) Power on - vcds. If its ok run bootmode Title: Re: Bench setup suggestions Post by: Sandstorm3k on July 03, 2021, 01:08:37 PM I think I've just wired mine up wrong, I'll play with it once more else I get one of these.
If i look at this correctly i only need to put 12v and ground on pin 1, 3 and then wire up the rest from the KKL cable. Thanks a ton for the suggestion Title: Re: Bench setup suggestions Post by: fknbrkn on July 04, 2021, 12:45:58 AM Just google me7 boot mode picture
