Exit Code:4", VISUAL/ME7LOGGER Post by: Parati on August 18, 2021, 07:59:25 PM I tried to log my ME7.5 with a KKL CH340 cable, using the COM3 port, but get this message when I go to start the log on ME7logger Visual. The weird thing is, the values I want to log appear for an instant on the log page, but after this message pop up on my screen, the values stop reading, so I assume the PC is connected to the ECU successfully. wait a few.. Are you getting values? but 0000000's???? Good! Now: Turn the Key to the ON (Ign. ON) position. wait a.. .. Does it Freeze up with error Code 4? Better..! now try to start logging the car when you removed the instrument cluster, if immobilizer is a deal...first start the car, remove cluster connector (where K-line is located) and now press start logging in visualme7logger. Does it Log now? Yes..? Great.. somehow the cluster is interrupting the K-line when trying to log. run a straight K-line from ecu pin to obd-device or fab some switch. worked for me 8) Title: Re: Help to log, "Error! You need to connnect with slow0x00 with engine OFF and ign ON, wont work any other way. |
