Title: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: zCruuz on October 08, 2021, 12:36:38 PM Hi all,
i hope someone can navigate me to what i'm missing. I really wanna learn how to tune the car properly by myself. Since my first post, i read several posts in the Forum, guides, wiki etc. So i got to deleted my not mounted rear O2 sensor and SAI. Idle rpm risen to 780rpm, to smoothen idle After that i wanted to start my tune with setting up for bigger injectors, so i bought Bosch EV6 0280155968 440cc@3bar The engine has been completely rebuild, everything is new or known good/tested. I pressure checked for leaks nothing found, crank breather system is working and seal. -Krkte from stock 0.103 to 0.074 -Tvub i got from another post, where it says 8V 1.8144 10V 1.2 12V 0.7648 14V 0.4992 16V 0.3808 are used in Volvo OEM setup. (Reply 16, http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=4175.15) My LTFT stay Zero no matter how long i drive, but my STFT are quite high (up to -24) at idle/low load. I dont know what to log, to see what i'm missing. Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: justinvw2646 on October 08, 2021, 06:27:15 PM Try .06695 and see if it helps. I am assuming AWP so if memory serves me correctly 286cc stock. 286/440=0.65 Stock krkte X .65=0.06695

Go over your changes again to verify, or post your file and ill have a look. Also, make sure your 440s are actually real as 70% of the 440s sold are shit china clones.i hope someone can navigate me to what i'm missing. Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: zCruuz on October 09, 2021, 10:16:41 AM first of all some specs of the car:
-compression lowered to 8.5:1 -engine block and head AGU -ECU and Harness from AUM 06A906032FC -K04-023 upgrade Turbo -3 inch downpipe 200cpi cat -3 inch exhaust I thought only the 225hp 1.8T injectors were 386 and the rest were smaller ??? yes i tested the stocks, with an spare fuel rail and pump, at 4 bar they make about 317cc which matches the KRKTE from 0.103You dont have long term fuel trims because you didnt do the deletes properly. Injectors where bought from Bosch authorized dealer, also tested by myself they are all about 435cc. But you are right, must have to do something with my deletes. Took my Original file and just modified KRKTE, TVUB, KVB and LDRXN (just to get rid of the boost leak error the big turbo causes) After flashing i let the engine idle for 10 min, then i drove about 15 min stop and go 0-50km/h without building boost through the city. Fuel trims are good as far as i get it. I am unable to post the VCDS screenshot? The problem now is, at boost (got AFR Gauge) my AFR is fine, as i would expect it about 12.5. In idle it drops to about 10.6 - 11.4. Could this be caused by the now appearing errors from rear O2, SAI and N249? Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: zCruuz on October 09, 2021, 10:18:57 AM Maybe now i can post the picture. Excuse it beeing no screenshot, vcds stopped displaying while using snipping tool.
Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: fknbrkn on October 09, 2021, 10:46:29 AM Iirc it could be caused by rear o2 dtc
Just code them out Also with that rich youve got a primary sensor curcuit malfunction dtc due to poisoning Maf issues could also be the reason of fueling Post logs 440 are old crap why do even you buy them in 2021 ? Its ridiculous Also cr 8.5is too low for k04023 Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: _nameless on October 09, 2021, 03:09:06 PM 440 are old crap why do even you buy them in 2021 ? For logs, i would use me7logger, i log: -rkat_w -fra_w -fr_w -lamsoni_w -lamsbg_w -nmot -mshfm_w -te_w anything else to log for getting fuel trims right? Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: zCruuz on October 10, 2021, 12:30:40 PM well, since it was clear weather and there was nothing better to do, i flashed the file and hit a run to and on the highway. the full throttle pull on the highway starts at about line 5050, i did pull gears 3,4 and 5
Title: Re: 1.8t ME7.5 440cc fueling Post by: dspl1236 on October 09, 2022, 12:31:09 PM I grabbed this tune as a temp tune until I get new 630cc's but may just go for a better 550 or 750 set
Frankly it runs quite smoothly. I am only running 12-14psi. AWP ecu/harness 0280150558 42lb 440cc 4 hole injectors 1.8t bored/stroked to a 2.0 230-240psi compression 9.6:1 CCTA TSI rods/pistons w/intake notch added AEB head w/VVT Big port transvers intake 3" (2.75) MAF Gt2871 ebay journal T25 I dont recommend anyone just willie nilly flashing internet tunes. I just needed something other than a stage 2 with stock 30lb injectors to continue getting miles and breaking in the motor. Thank you zCruuz |
