Title: bam when idle afr = 0.95 when auq afr=1 when idling

hello to all. as the tiltle says bam afr when idle=0.95 when auq afr=1 when idling.
i would like to make bam ecu afr=1 when at idle.
could someone point all the maps needed. until now i have edited cats...etc but no luck.
i made many changes but cannot find the solution. i am not a professional and trying to learn.
changes are made with winols. and until now i have managed to tune almost everything i need
reading thiw fantastic forum.
LC with nls and everything useful and not useful.

I would do an datalog at idle and lok at what requested AFR is, if its requesting 1.0 then most likley the maps are good, unless you've changed something else. Look at TEMIN and injector ontime aswell

both cars are completely stock.no ecu tune.
i need to know what is different between a car with EGT that requests AFR=0.95(BAM) and another without EGT that requests AFR=1(AUQ)
this is one difference that cannot find

anyway all the cars work fine but i need to understand what is the difference between s3 with real EGT sensor and an octavia without EGT sensor.
the s3 in idle or in cruising with steady gas pedal the afr goes to 0.95.
while the octavia in idle or in cruising the afr goes 1.
and i have seen that two more cars that i know WITH EGT sensor on the turbine work afr=0.95
while other model without EGT on turbine housing work afr=1.
i hope you understand clearly what i am trying to figure out.
i don't have any problem at all with any of the cars that we examine.

2. EGT is Based on a Calculated Model

3. Euro 6 Models also try to reach Lambda 1 while part load becuse emissions :)

The reason this happens is that the car was messed about with (not stock emissions) and deletes were not done correctly.
EGT sensor or no EGT sensor has nothing to do with it.

Don't really feel like elaborating further, as your attitude is pretty shitty (GIVE ME GIVE ME GIVE ME).

Maybe a good time for you to learn to use proper logging and read the FR, as it's extremely easy to see where a certain lambda request comes from.
But possibly someone is also going to hand you the solution on a silver platter.

the s3 is 8L 20vt and the octavia is also 20vt 1.8t
what i mean is the wideband sensor is showing 0.95 both in car and the extra AEM wideband.
both cars have extra wideband sensor.
answer in no 2 is in the octavia EGT is calculated as you correctly said.
in the s3 the car has its own EGT sensor on the turbo from factory. that is what i noticed in the cars.
that is my conclusion.please correct me if i am wrong.  :)

i am sorry sir if i sound like that. i am going a little bit crazy about the answer the truth is.
i am not a pro and i will not be. what i do is computer tech. car stuff  is my hobby.
the truth is that both cars are stock. correction: were stock when i found that difference.
but they still have that difference after stage 1 remap.
i didn't mean to sound shitty. i truly apologise!
as for your answer to the difference i will check again and again in case i misunderstood something in the software.
nevertheless i got answers and solutions on a silver plate indeed, :)  for other stuff in this fantastic forum.
and i truly want to thank all people that contribute!
i will listen to you and try again to learn logging better and read afr. i have found lambda request where is but that is not enough i believe because i have changed a few things and there are indeed changes but i cannot correct the problem-difference that i am looking for.

AEM shows not really accurate to your oem lambda the value i belive becuse i had costumer they had also the aem sensor and my external Lambda and oem Lambda shows diffrent values to aem

both cars' factory wideband show also and almost the same difference (0.5).
 aem wideband show also a little difference of 0.5 .thats why i say that there is difference in AFR=almost 0.5
s3 8l shows 0.95   and octavia 20vt mk1 without the true pyrometer show 1 (14,7)

i have a bam tune on my amu.
idle goes to .95 sometimes. but then it does 1 sometimes also.

does other weird stuff too.

someone else mentioned egt.
I have  halfass egt delete (cuz not all tables r defined).  If u have something like that going on then mabye look into it

Hello again.you were right sir. it was different versions of ecu software with different settings.BUT indeed the differences were as i said in the 2 cars. egt was one of them. Anyway
the variables i was looking for were lamkaml dlamfaw. and i managed to do what i wanted.

I am sure the cars had different tyres and wheels too. That's about as relevant to this.
