Title: Why has google become a shithouse search engine? Post by: R32Dude on December 24, 2021, 04:11:10 AM Anyone else noticed that google is getting thicker with its searches? It used to give pages of good results, for months now I'm lucky to get 2 pages sometimes. Its become useless for anything non mainstream. Its become crap for searching keywords in this site too.

It is the same with YouTube searches. It’s most likely political. Try using quotation marks in the google search bar it might help. e.g… “i” “would” “like” “to” “know” “why” “google” “sucks”

It used to be pretty good at searching here, as the local search feature is also crappy. I tried as a test "prj" site:www.nefariousmotorsports.com 5 hits produced "nyet" is more prolific, a whopping 25 posts. But honestly, google is so bad at searching anything that Im getting scared that something big is brewing. Altavista 30 years ago gave me more hits. Its got to be something political alright. It all seemed to happen a few months ago only. Edit: I just tried Bing- It's infinitely better! Title: Re: Why has google become a shithouse search engine?
