I was wondering if it is possible to change the ecu from 3.8.2 to 3.8.3. Beacuse i saw m3.8.2 and m3.8.3 in audi a3 1.8 but cant find any ecu m3.8.3 in 2.4 Will it work if i put 1.8 ecu in 2.4 ? V6 has twice the hall sensors, and 2 more injector outputs. I don't think the 1.8 ECU has more than 4 injector drivers etc. Either way you can always socket the thing and flash some chips, but lol pops... I can't imagine the 2.4 and the 2.8 being much different aside from displacement. I've done a me7 2.4l 30v and injectors, and maf are the same as the 2.8l 30v. I can't speak for sure but I'd think the m5.9.2 ecu could run the 2 4 without a problem
