Post by: markhodges78 on January 19, 2022, 02:05:59 PM So I bought a used ecu off of ebay to replace the one In my car that was no longer communicating with car or flasher ( lol I mess up some how ) did a full backup with ktag and also read the eeprom with me7_95040.exe and the flash with nefmoto... afterwards I did a full restore with ktag using my original ecu backup and also wrote the eeprom with my original eeprom file using me7_95040.exe later after looking at the eeprom bin that came from the ebay ecu with eeprom tool I noticed that the ecu had a tuner tag that looked like this.

if it has any sort of other prot, no, not with nef flasher. if it has no riser, you can use bootmode if flash fails. Title: Re: Custom tune ? Year / Make / Model. ECU ID and so on? Its hard to say you read the EEPROM right and rom if you dont share what ECU your working with... Let us know and you might get better answers. Post by: markhodges78 on January 20, 2022, 08:12:26 PM Here are the files the ones that do not say ebay or from my original ecu these ecu's were read with ktag and the eeproms that dont show all FFFFFF were read with me7_95040.exe also notice the tuner tag in file ebay.bin

Extremely doubtful at this point. Pretty much everything out there is garbage, you can do better with a bit of time and DIY given modern understanding of ME7.1 Title: Re: Custom tune ? Yes ofcourse except this is part of my "differential analysis" which actually shows you much more than if its different, actually which calibration tables are different between a tuned and a stock rom file and even possible to show by how much they've differ from the base map... |
