Title: Abs and Brake sign on A6 C5 cluster, what activate it? Post by: BlackT on March 12, 2022, 04:52:03 AM I am trying to figure out what activate big brake warning on VDO 2001 CAN-BUS cluster.
If I discconect ESP/ABS there is a still ABS MIL and brake warning. Is it possible to code out this from cluster. And is it acrivate only by bremse 1 CAN signal? Post by: macxxx on March 15, 2022, 08:58:28 AM Signal from ABS/ESP and from only starts that big red brake sign on FIS , I have a bench setup and I connected those pins to +12V or ground ( don't remember exactly but I can check than ) and It dissapears

After that I cut violet wire from ESP unit and ESP waring from cluster did not show up Still i got ABS light on dash,, but I can live with that If I cut ABS wire to cluster gelb/red then again I got warning and big brake sign on cluster Title: Re: Abs and Brake sign on A6 C5 cluster, what activate it?
