Title: Just bought a 2.7t, please have look at these boost spike! Post by: passuff on June 01, 2012, 01:17:12 PM I just bought a 2.7t with RS4 Turbo and intercooler. ECU and TCU were tuned from a German company. The car is running like this for 10.000km. The seller told me the engine is doing 360Hp. I don't believe in that. It feels like it is less....
So I checked the diverter valves. Both valves are bleeding through the vac lines, so I guess they are broken. I also did some logging. I have attached two characteristic pictures. One is a dynamic "paddle to the metal" and the other one is constant driving. The boost spike after the kick down makes me scared. What do you think? Post by: rnagy86 on June 02, 2012, 10:57:36 AM Well if you have oil all around the DVs then you obviously have a boost and vacuum leak, which will produce all kind of strange symptoms so first you should pressure test the whole system.
