Title: 2003 VW Golf R32
Post by: alan2796 on June 03, 2012, 04:43:50 AM
Hello all, this my first experience with the software and im not having much luck.

I tried reading the contents of my ECU yesterday with a blue ebay cable, however it would not work.

My ECU used to have a GIAC Map but this should of been removed by VW when I tried to swap ECU's with another car (which didnt work).  The only way to get the cars running again was to flash them with a stock VW Map.

So as far as I am aware my ECU is now standard but I am unable to read from it. any ideas where I could be going wrong.

This is my status log.
