Title: Quick save if you flashed a bad bin by accident Post by: tadope on May 22, 2022, 12:26:15 PM Credit to someone on this forum not me. But this has saved me numerous times and I haven't seen it on the stickies.
Unplug your battery and let the ECU sit for a few minutes. Then you will get one good working try to reflash the ECU before it goes back to nogood condition. If you accidentally forgot to checksum a file or some other error makes your recently flashed bin no good. Then try this method to restore. Sometimes needed to leave car with unpluged battery more than few minutes, but yes, it's more easier than remove ecu for bootmode
