Title: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: Jules H on September 24, 2022, 01:22:23 AM Hello team,
I have a 2005 Audi Allroad c5 2.5 TDI Original engine BAU Auto Transmission. Have swapped in 2003 2.5TDI AKE, 02X 6 speed manual. Im trying to find the correct file to flash onto my ecu ideally with immobilizer turned off? As the cluster, radio, key dont match the fuel pump at this point. What memory layout should I use for this? Any help I would appreciate this is my final step in completing this. Original BAU ecu have 11 map sets and can be recoded to any car config (MT/AT/FWD/AWD/ESP etc) No firmware passed for AKE ecu will not work with fuel pump taken from BAU engine. I have tried that and it didnt work? Not sure what you mean here either way i have both the bau and the ake pumps and ecus so i can switch them to suit whatever is needed? Currently the ake pump is still on the car. Give accurate identification data of your original BAU (8Ex907401x 0xxx) and original coding value. And the same data for replaced AKE (4xx907401xx Dxx) ecu. I have found the ecu part numbers: BAU= 8E0907401J Diesel EDC15VM+ AKE=4Z7907401B Diesel EDC15VM+ What is your advice? Both ecus are factory tiptronic auto have not been flashed. Title: Re: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: gremlin on September 27, 2022, 03:55:38 AM BAU= 8E0907401J Diesel EDC15VM+ Set coding 8E0907401J depends of car properties: Allroad MT -> 06005 Allroad MT with LowRange ->06008 Must use BAU pump!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AKE=4Z7907401B -> MT ->01015, MT+LowRange -> 01018 Title: Re: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: Jules H on September 28, 2022, 12:37:31 AM Set coding 8E0907401J depends of car properties: Allroad MT -> 06005 Allroad MT with LowRange ->06008 Must use BAU pump!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AKE=4Z7907401B -> MT ->01015, MT+LowRange -> 01018 Understand, how come must use BAU pump with BAU ecu? Are they not compatible to switch? I tried to change around this soft coding already and asked for help from UWE over at ross tech. When i changed the coding it made no difference and the automatic gears are still on the display, in addition to this it effects the ESP and various other warning lights all remain on, on the dash. Im guessing because audi allroad was never available in manual in AUD market probably the coding wont change? Can anyone help with an factory manual file that i can flash to my ecu? Not only engine ecu must be recoded if you change AT to MT. You must also properly recode ABS/ESP and dash panel. You don't need to search and change ECU new firmware. Both your ECU can support MT in current state. So in addition to changing that coding in "engine" VCDS which i have done what else do i do now to code the ABS/ESP and dash? First try properly recode ABS/ESP and see what's happen. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4B)_Brake_Electronics_(Bosch_5.7) (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4B)_Brake_Electronics_(Bosch_5.7)) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7YRiVYrLjo Title: Re: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: Jules H on September 30, 2022, 08:44:21 PM First try properly recode ABS/ESP and see what's happen. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4B)_Brake_Electronics_(Bosch_5.7) (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4B)_Brake_Electronics_(Bosch_5.7)) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7YRiVYrLjo Hello again Busy week here I only just got a chance now to look at the allroad. So i switched the cluster, ecu, key to the ake stuff. The car is running. I tried to re code the abs module as above instructions. Im able to login to the abs module no problems but when i try to change the soft coding from 06457 (auto trans), to 06455 (manual trans). It wont change it just reverts back to 06457. I have the trans ecu unplugged ect. Any ideas why this would be? Title: Re: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: Jules H on October 01, 2022, 03:45:04 AM Bit of an update:
I managed to re code the abs ecu, you have to login with the code you want to change it to not the code it currently is or it just will revert back. The next problem im having is for some reason the abs/esp lights keep coming on even after coding manual. Without realising ive been trying to reset the injector pump timing. The abs/esp for some reason changes the injector pump timing wildly Title: Re: Need Allroad 2.5TDI 2003 Manual File Post by: gremlin on October 01, 2022, 06:44:13 AM After ABS/ESP recoding you must make steering wheel angle sensor calibration.
If after this procedure everything remains the same, then the AKE firmware and the original BAU firmware may have differences in the versions of the CAN matrix used. The reason is different years of manufacture. PS: I look inside the firmware dumps... AKE use CAN version 3.1.1 both for AT/MT BAU use CAN version 4.0.2 (MT) or 4.0.3 (AT) You can check this fact indirectly. With AKE ecu you can't now activate and use CCS (cruise control) |
