Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: Blazius on November 11, 2022, 02:07:49 PM What ^ said. But LDRXN and other stuff. Go check it.
With E85 you need to change krkte and some injector tuning, but you can safely set timings to kfzwop usually. Everything you asked is on the forum Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 12, 2022, 03:59:40 AM yes of course
KRKTE TVUB KVB LDRXN but for the boost there must be other maps to modify? LDRXNZK.... I have a few maps on my xdf but the units and axes are not all good. Can someone look at it please? Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 12, 2022, 05:30:01 AM I don't think anyone bother help if you don't even tell me what your ecu part number is, now we have to dig it out from your binary. don't hide it.
Btw, your injectors don't go very far with ethanol. Increasing the power ends up very short with them if you want it to run on ethanol. Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 12, 2022, 05:56:25 AM thank you
I modified with ecu number.630cc are too small for e85 and a bit more boost? I have the stock K03 to remain reliable how much can I put 0.8 /0.9 bars in it? Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 12, 2022, 08:49:04 PM thank you I modified with ecu number.630cc are too small for e85 and a bit more boost? I have the stock K03 to remain reliable how much can I put 0.8 /0.9 bars in it? ah nevermind i read injectors number wrong. They're fine. I updated your XDF in another thread. LDRXNZK can remain original? is it protection? does it lower the pressure in the event of a blow? Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 13, 2022, 12:50:11 AM I admit my first reading of the ecu went well in 7 minutes. but I worry a little more about the writing. because I need it to go to work :-\. maybe I should buy one backup ecu at 100 euros? because given my level I have a lot of log tests and adjustments to do. if the ecu crashes it's easy to put back in original boot mode? by obd
and for the cold start with E85. where should I start looking? is there a map for the warmup? ??? thank Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: adam- on November 13, 2022, 03:42:43 AM Yes, get a spare. Learn how to bootmode and do it before you need it.
Yes, there are warmup maps. Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 13, 2022, 05:07:59 AM but I worry a little more about the writing. because I need it to go to work :-\. maybe I should buy one backup ecu at 100 euros? because given my level I have a lot of log tests and adjustments to do. if the ecu crashes it's easy to put back in original boot mode? by obd If you are going to do lot of writing (like me), consider doing permanent wiring the ecu with "switchable" boot mode. So that boot mode can be turned on at any time while ecu is attached in the car. I made a small hole through the ecu shell and sealed it, so whenever I want I can get the ecu into boot mode and do a repair via obd if normal writing fails (common with mpps :-X) Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 13, 2022, 05:46:24 AM I'm interested, I thought the bootmode was as simple as reading with nefmoto since there is the option. how does it work? soldering to do? ???
Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 13, 2022, 07:31:34 AM the software version must absolutely match?
I have: 1037354801 can i clone on 1037354735? by obd is it possible? the ecu for sale on ebay not always the software number Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: Blazius on November 13, 2022, 05:12:32 PM Same bootrom version and pcb design files can be crossflashed without any issues. Pretty much anything but please dont make me look up all the info.
Post the whole output from me7check of bins.. It looks like that is even the same ecu so one of the softs is newer so tldr you can. Dont forget about your eeprom Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 14, 2022, 06:10:43 AM hi,I ordered a spare ecu. how do you read the eprom ecu? I understood that it is necessary to be in bootmode (pin 24 to the mass or by obd which software?) for the moment I manage to read the eprom cluster with vag commander. I equipped myself with me7eeprom me7_95040
but I am far from having read everything and understood everything. I have plenty to do sorry for my google translate Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 14, 2022, 09:14:41 AM hi,I ordered a spare ecu. how do you read the eprom ecu? I have plenty to do sorry for my google translate correct, put ecu in bootmode (solder or wire to chip pin->gnd) and then connect with me7eeprom program (works with ft232rl cable). Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 14, 2022, 09:28:13 AM ok thank you. for a "switchable" version a switch outside the ecu? I read 10seconds to ground with contact on. does this erase the flash? no other solution to clone? me7eprom works in cmd too?
Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 14, 2022, 09:38:14 AM I'm going to wait to receive the backup ecu. No risk of immo blocking if I swap my stock/backup ecu and put the stock back on afterwards to read and check the software number and watch the flash.
Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 14, 2022, 10:14:48 AM ok thank you. for a "switchable" version a switch outside the ecu? I read 10seconds to ground with contact on. does this erase the flash? no other solution to clone? me7eprom works in cmd too? I brought both the gnd and bootmode wire outside the ecu. I didn't put a switch but I plugged the wire ends and when I need boot mode, I remove the plugs and connect the wires together. bootmode is not needed for binary read, but eeprom read it is needed as far as i know. Does not erase flash. Me7eprom works in windows cmd only. Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on November 14, 2022, 10:35:12 AM just tried reading eprom ecu not working by vag commander1.4/2.5 yet there is option with choice of ecu me7.1 7.5...
probably because of the bootmode ??? Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: TeknoFi on November 14, 2022, 10:51:19 AM vag commander that is tool for instrument cluster, not ecu... you are reading ecu eeprom, not instrument. I am progressing slowly but surely on my little project. I now have a 2nd ecu that I cloned. I saw that I am missing some maps if someone can help me that would be cool: TEMIN FKSTT FNSSM Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on January 15, 2023, 12:52:27 AM Same bootrom version and pcb design files can be crossflashed without any issues. Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: mdz on January 15, 2023, 01:52:56 AM There's fully defined 018CA floating around here.
Title: Re: looking for help for Project baby stage 1 and E85 1.8t Post by: JeanAwt on January 15, 2023, 03:20:21 AM I tried 018CG does not start, I want to know why? 018r is in a4 b5 2000/018CG a4 b5 2001 . same engine. a quattro file will prevent it from starting on traction? different EPK numbers?
yes I can try all the files that are close to 018R and tell you which ones work. but I would like to understand what makes it not work software?hardware numbers? the file? indeed there is a map pack 018CA on the forum and the CA file seems to correspond to 018R. he wrote: "Have fun guys, the 018CA.bin file works great on the 018CG ecu too.
