Title: 2002 1.8t a4
Post by: purgetekk on December 11, 2022, 10:30:13 AM
Good morning everyone!

I've read the stickys, i've browsed the site for the better part of a day now, (including the search function)

I have a 02 1.8t AWM a4 that has been flashed with this junk eurocustoms stage 2 tune, and its just garbage, i cant stand it.

Anyways, I was looking to go back to stock, ( i have a stock ECU out of another b5 that i can do the immo delete, as i am a  network engineer and this isnt too hard of a task.)  I have a general understanding on how everything works and communicates, what I am unsure is of how/where the different file types are/go , and how exactly i get to a GUI that will let me edit fuel trims, do the SAI delete, etc. I have the cables, VCDS, and ODIN-s and E installed on my laptop.

i dont need someone to hold my hand through this, i just need a push in the right direction with some documents and I'll be on my marry way to doing this myself, and maybe you'll hear from me in another post saying its all set, or i bricked it. Either way, I refuse to pay 500$ to a company who developed a tune, and sells it to the masses. I would rather be completely built, and not bought.

Thanks everyone.
