Post by: dreconx on December 22, 2022, 02:59:00 PM
hi guys,

im struggeling with a cupru R BAM engine, car has hybrid turbo and fmic/downpipe.

I have done alot of these in the past but i cant figure this out.
Ecu request 0.9lambda on idle?? Then when doing a pull its requesting 0.65 lambda  ???

I tougth i did something wrong in the map so i put it back to stock and it still doing it.

Some examples:

Here is a picture of WOT run..

DLATRNLN
Try to zero it.

Try to zero it.

What is this? Should it be documented in the Tuning page?

I know for sure it enriches AFR at very high loads(temp?) and I think it applies only for 2.7T and TT 225hp since they have EGT sensors. I don't know the reason why because it was many years ago so I didn't disassemble the file and there was almost no description in the FR. The AFR was around 0.67-0.7 and I solved my problem by zeroing this map.

Translation: "Delta Lambda in Emergency Exhaust gas temperature control". B_atrnl is a trigger.

Got it.

BTW, dreconx please obey forum rules. It isn't hard.

Have you actually checked why does it trigger it in the first place, I mean its the whole reason for the ATR it goes off egt vs afr to keep EGTs in check if you hit the critical stage, which you probably did.

Agreed. Numbing ATR seems to be a very bad idea.

DLATRNLN
Try to zero it.
It`s not god way for this.
Adjust DLATRNLN for proper lambda (remember that the value in this map should correlate with your set value in LAMFA) AND
adjust TABGSS just AFTER CHECK why ATR module change your fueling

Well, he could zero it to narrow down if it is ATR. But ya, not more than for just that.
