ID like someone to walk me thru making a stage 1 tune... so far ive flashed my stock ecu (and have that bin saved) ive downloaded a stock b5 s4 bosch.bin and an xdf file , loaded that into tuner pro and made a simple adjustment to the rev limiter and then used me7sum to correct that file... i also have me7logger ready to go... but im more of a hands on type of person and would like someone to walk me through the process and explain a little bit. For someone spending the time and holding your hand, you better at least 10x that number for some minimal tuition. The people who are any good at this earn at least 200$ per hour, and they usually do not work on 20 year old shit anymore. Title: Re: Willing to pay for help.. As far tuning, to be honest if you invested time and you are really interested in this subject, I guess you can easy learn stage 1 and basics within month. Title: Re: Willing to pay for help.. Post by: prj on December 27, 2022, 12:24:06 PM You are not going to learn to make a decent stage 1 file in 1 month, not even close to it.
Flashing something ready on here and checking logs and seeing if it's going to blow up the engine or not, maybe. Harsh? Don't think it's harsh. The learning curve is a vertical wall, better understand that right away. Title: Re: Willing to pay for help.. For now I understand where I am at and I think 200$ is reasonable to be able to ask a few questions. Hey, PRJ. Have you ever seen the movie whiplash? Title: Re: Willing to pay for help.. That’s where I got the tune for which I flashed my ecu. Still need to digest some more! I’m at a higher altitude so I’d like to start some logs Title: Re: Willing to pay for help..
