Title: VW EDC16 Damos
Post by: JaDa on December 26, 2022, 05:38:00 AM
Hi there,
Have so far only worked on EDC15 but are now starting to take a look at VW EDC 16.
But have issues setting up a super mappack by the .hex and the .a2l file.
There is propably something that i dont know about setting the offsets when importing the .a2l file.
Would anyone give me a clue so i understand and learn how to master this in the EDC 16?
So far as i understand this is a 100% mach .a2l file for this .hex?

So you don't know how to start a project file in winols and you expect someone to hold your hand to teach you how to. Fucking unreal, watch YouTube or read the instructions.... How hard is that?
Being a twat won't get you anywhere in this wheel house bub.

It seems this a2l does not fit to your file. Anyway it seems someone deleted the version information in this a2l, just find correct "P379U6FU" a2l. Winols never had problems with automatic EDC16 a2l import, so it´s wrong a2l.

PROJECT X447 "EDC16U34"
VERSION    "VAA1"
PROJECT_NO X447
Just picked out of one damos here.
To get a better understanding of the way damos works.
VERSION    "VAA1" , how will i understand from this if a damos wersion is earlyer or later than this one?
Ther must be a natuaral change in the the version numbars that indicates if its earlyer or later than this.
Is there anyone that can spread some ligth on this so i understand the way this goes?
