What EPROM need and which is chip inside the ecu ? To read it, you need to desolder the chip from the board and use an external programmer with a PLCC44 adapter. A desoldered chip cannot be reprogrammed. To write a new firmware, you need a new M27C1024 or analog. It can also only be programmed once. For AT29C1024 just need socket for it Wilem can support M27C1024 OTP but you need made special smart adapter by Toomas Toots shematic. Both programmers does not support AT29C1024. Does this enough for my need ? No. Read carefully what has already been written above !!! Willem can't programm Atmel flash AT29C1024. Tools for few bucks to work with these chips do not exist. Prices start at ~$150 and up. |
