Title: Me7.5 from AWT - analogue RPM output and check engine output. Post by: ratosluaf on February 26, 2023, 10:20:04 PM Hello, I am in progress of swapping 1.8t (engine code AWT) to another chassis. I need to work around analogue RPM signal to tacho and check engine signal. I found that I can use pin 37 for RPM signal and pin 47 for check engine light but this info is for transverse mounted engines.
My ecu number is 4b0906018dh, and what i get from pinout is i don't even have cable on pin 47, and pin 37 is used to A/C system. I tried to search for info on the web, but found nothing. Maybe someone can help me before I get oscilloscope and check all the pins in ecu? Title: Re: Me7.5 from AWT - analogue RPM output and check engine output. Title: Re: Me7.5 from AWT - analogue RPM output and check engine output. Post by: ratosluaf on February 27, 2023, 10:15:46 PM Thanks. According to that, analog RPM output is still there on pin 37. I also found in 2000 Audi A4 wiring diagram that 47 should be check engine light and 48 epc light. Will try and check. Thanks!

I see there is a function that use P2_13 and that is connected to pin 37 for analog output. But I don't get any signal, maybe some configuration needs to be change but I can't find it ECU is from 4F 4.2 MPI engine |
