Title: MED17.1 Boost Patch Requered Post by: Janbakhish on April 27, 2023, 08:17:13 AM Hi to everyone. I've been trying to tune my B8.5 A5 with the 2.0T engine (MED 17.1 TC1796 ECU), and I've had trouble with boost. I've already attached my ori and stage II learning purpose file with my last engine log to this thread. If you decide to take a look at these files, please don't be shocked after seeing the entered map values. The reason for this is that: when I was hit to the boost control wall I decided to pull all the possible boost-related values to absurd points one by one at a time to eliminate possible bottlenecks that could keep the boost down, but nothing really changed it. So my question is: Is it really that difficult to control boost on MED 17.1 TC1796, or am I dumb? I've read that some people have the ability to patch and change that complex, flow-based WG control algo with much easier duty cycle-based WG control logic, like on ME7 ECUs. Who can provide this patch for my ECU? I'm willing to pay for that.

all FF or 10-20% :D Title: Re: MED17.1 Boost Patch Requered Post by: Janbakhish on April 27, 2023, 04:05:49 PM plz dont tune any med17 :D or other ecu I've already said that; don't be shocked :D Thanks for your humorous approach :D After opening this thread, I figured out which maps were actually related to my low boost issue. Now it's time to max out these maps too, haha. Joking aside, my issue was actually related to my map definition supplier. I really put a lot of effort into understanding the wrong map explanation. Actually, I didn't have to change maps at that absurd point to succeed. Anyway, thanks for your time.all FF or 10-20% :D Title: Re: MED17.1 Boost Patch Requered Post by: VagDoc on April 28, 2023, 08:35:36 PM Hi to everyone.
