Title: Dq250 auto shifting after hard launch Post by: andyc1234 on June 03, 2023, 06:47:31 AM Dq250 in manual mode. Shift points set to above the engines rpm limiter. On a hard launch which spins the wheels slightly the gearbox will auto upshift at too low of ab rpm. Not sure if it is an issue with the mechatronics or the mapping

I'm able to disable auto upshift when upshift limiters are set above RPM limiters, but when I set upshift limit eg. to 6800 (RPM limiter 7000rpm) gearbox shifts not higher than 6000RPM.
I have a feeling that it is dependent on clutch slip- my guess is that if slip is too big (but still can be unnoticed by driver) gearbox reacts by early upshifting. Car is now in pieces again having upgraded clutch pack fitted so can't do anymore testing till that is done

The standard clutch can hold more torque than the gearbox can. +1 the input shaft and the gears give out way before the clutches do.Only people who can't tune fit different clutch to it. |
