Title: 2000 Passat ME7.1 ECU EEPROM dump Post by: Chowlie on July 30, 2023, 07:06:06 AM I've got an ME7.1 from a 2000 Passat and I'm trying to dump the eeprom. Unlike the later Me711 ECUs with the 8 pin 95160 chip, this ECU has a 14 pin chip marked P97SN 74AC00. I've had no luck reading it with Argdub's tool, although I haven't tried grounding a pin for boot mode as I can't find any info for it. Any advice?
EDIT: It appears as though the chip I posted is just a quad nandgate, not an eeprom. Doesn't seem to have everything here though, I'm wanting to delete a couple of emissions codes.
