Title: Can read ecu but not write
Post by: yuriy on September 04, 2023, 09:16:04 PM
Hello, currently trying to flash a file onto my 06A906032HS ecu from AWP 1.8t. I’ve turned the immo off, however I can’t seem to write anything to it. The strange part is that I can read the eeprom via nefmoto, but can’t write anything. Same story with Galleto and boot mode. It just hangs on “erasing” for a few minutes and then fails when it tries to write. I’ve flashed countless ecu’s before but this one has me stumped. Also this is what it looks like on the inside, definitely not typical, but if it’s some sort of 3rd party chip, why am I able to read it out of boot mode? https://ibb.co/H485MTY

First off you are reading the eprom not eeprom. EEprom is a 95040 chip and nefmoto can not read it.  Second thats a APR ECMs board, its proprietary to APR, it can be removed and replaced with a stock eprom and can be programmed as normal
