I changed NMAXF to 3300,
NMAX to 3000
But I can still exceed that to 5000 rpm just like the file didn't work.
Flashed using nefmoto with a KKL cable, and then pulled the file using galletto.
I compared the files. The read file after flashing is the same as the file I wanted to write. I don't understand what goes wrong.

So you are trying to make a stationary rev limiter? You need more than just the one value. There's a whole thread that exists on that

you want a hard cut at 3000??why? it's not a tdi. Use the search bar. even on youtube there is information.nmax is a limitation. for hard CUT you need a cut....so...closing map.

I don't want a hard cut at 3000. I just want to figure out what NMAX and NMAXF do cuz I set them to 3000 and nothing happens.

 NMAXF  is RPM DTC limit. NMAX is an actual rev limiter.
