Title: Is it possible to controll AC fan through ECU in ME7.5?
Post by: s0beIT on January 23, 2024, 01:28:56 AM
Hello guys

I have an Audi A6 C5 2001 1.8T AWT with Multitronic, im training on its ECU but today my AC compressor started to rattle hard. I will fix is, but for now I have to wait a bit to replace it and I wonder if its possible to controll AC fan for cooling through ECU tuning? Has anyone done that?

Im sorry if there is something about this topic here, but search engine didnt showed me any.

Thanks!

edit - Forgot to say, I'm going to temporarly take off the belt off AC so it doesnt work, but I don't know if AC fan will be on then, thats why I want to see if its possible through software.
Well, since I found out that even with AC off fan is on, so post is useless. Sorry for asking such dumb questions

yes it has maps to adjust the AC fan flow...temperature. this helps the viscocoupler in the event of overheating. Triggered by thermocontact.

Not on C5, fan is acrivated by termoswitch and AC

The question I'm asking myself is from what year are there 2 electric fans and if this is adaptable to b5?
