im searching for a good windows based HexEditor which allowes me to compare 2 files side by side. I tryed Hex Plugin for Notepad++ but no chance here since "compare" feature is another plugin and both wont work together. Title: Re: HexEditor to compare 2 Files Post by: littco on July 25, 2012, 08:25:32 AM Mtx's map analyser lets you compare bin files in a graphical form and you can use the difference tool to compare and find variances. If you know what a map looks like it then becomes very easy.

It has not all functions from a normal hexeditor, but it is good for comparing. You can highlight all differences and not only byte for byte difference like hxd for example. You can also match offsets choosing rules-button. It´s trial-version for 30 days...
