Title: golf mk3 swap r32 engine inmo problem
Post by: oba on April 15, 2024, 01:01:48 PM
hello.

The car is a original golf mk3 vr6 and swap a r32 bub engine of golf mk5 with the ecu 022906032 kf.

The ecu have a "inmo off " of the last owner but the car crank but no start, not injector works.

Wiring and engine is good , the car start with a golf mk4 v6 ecu inmo off.

This is the eprom read.

thanks!

This is the eprom read.

Eeprom patch only will not work.
To switch off immo on ecu ME7.1.1 based on ST10F processor.
you must patch internal firmware of ST10F mcu.
Not to be confused with firmware in external flash!!!

First time I hear such nonsense, ALL VAG ME7.x can have immo disabled in EEPROM alone without anything extra needed ever.

I have always and only removed immo from EEPROM and fixed cksum afterwards on ME7.1.1 ST10f27x . As far as Vag goes Eeprom is only needed. Not sure how you invented that Method :) . There are Guides all over this forum explaining the Structure of eeprom on ME7 ecus with pointers to almost everything.

OK. Here is an ori eeprom example.
The standard method changing two bytes from 01 to 02 and fix the CSM does not work.
After eeprom correcting the engine starts and runs as you want until the ignition is turned off. This works only once.
The next attempt to start the engine no longer works.

Please can you correct the above dump example to disable immo using any your method.

Your problem is elsewhere. :) :)
