Title: 2005 Beetle 2.0 ME7.1.1 EEPROM Corupt
Post by: unicorn89 on June 23, 2024, 02:23:17 PM
I have two ECU's here and both of them are giving back corrupt eeprom files. It's the app i am using which is ME7BootEeprom.exe

Command: ME7BootEeprom 9600 -read -SSC 1 Port6 Pin3 512 beetleeprom.ori

Anything else I can try?

Try this if its ST10F only, not C167. Out out of bootmode, just normal boot.

Ah, I don't think so. Here is a pic of the chips.

Not a ST10, this should work for your C167 : http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1168.0

Just make sure you specify the proper EEPROM chipset type (Likely 95160)
