Hi guys! im currenty in the process of fitting a new ea888.4 engine into a vw transporter!! i need to get the immo off on the ecu before transplaning it. Does anyone know if this can be done and how to do it at all? Everyone i have spoken to in the uk upto yet says it cant be done. If any one can shed any light it would be appreciated

Immo can be done, if you can full flash the ECU while it is still in the original car.
If it is already out of the car then no public tool can boot mode the ECU and if the immo is not authenticated obd flashing is impossible.

I still have the car complete and untouched! How do we go about removing the immo?
