Title: KFLDRL
Post by: bombis on September 11, 2024, 05:39:19 AM
HI,
How to find location for KFLDRL? (my mappack dont find this)

I know the map is 10x16. 16bit. Factor 0.005

ECU 4B0906018DC

Found this map right below kfldimx

If you think the axis in KFLDRL is throttle angle, that tells me that you shouldn't be looking for KFLDRL in the first place but rather going through the S4 wiki, all the pinned posts on here and a decent Funktionsrahmen. Hopefully you realize that before you go and call me names.

I know the table is duty cycle %, for wastegate control.

I need to reduce it at high rpm, because i have external wastegate with stiffer spring. Therefore i need lower dutycycle.
I only need the location for the map.

I¨ve read some of the litterature, about the PID.
The result; ldtvr_w is input :)

KFLDRL[%]=f(nmot_w, lvtvr_w) -> 0x1EBB2
Axis nmot -> 0x134BE
Axis lvtvr -> 0x1EDC0

BTW the "more stiffer spring" means some changes in i, p, d factors of PID-Control.
To make boost control flawless may be isn't enough to patch only KFLDRL.
KFLDRQ0, KFLDRQ1 and KFLDRQ2 may need some corrections also.

Looks like wastegate dutycycle is living its own life

I did reduce imx and kfldrl, but gets exactly the same dc.

There is nothing good going on there. Put everything back to stock and start again.

That solved the problem nyet  :D
Boost pressure follows boost pressure desired much better now

low wgdc at spool, why?
imx super-weirdo

also +3 deg advance @5000 is way too low

wiki is pretty clear with tighten springs
and all you need is KFVPDKSE axis, imx axis/values and DRL linearising (or imx linearising in case of precontrol way)

imx and drl was stock. Raised them to get 95% wgdc at spool (y)
Increased timing to 9,75@5000. why is it dropping 3-7deg occasionally? 0 ignition retard, dwkrz
