Title: Me7.0 2000 volvo s80 2.0t 5p08c3 eprom Post by: roedfjel on October 23, 2024, 01:10:08 AM Hi
Can anyone check this eprom attached if its ok? I think the ecm is corrupted. So i try to read out the ecm eprom. I allso read out the ecu with tool with dice adapter. I attached the files. If files is corrupted is there any way to make new file that will work with a new ecu? Volvo.bin and volvo_ram.bin is read out using dice and open source volvo tool. Converted_output.bin is desolder read of 5p08. That i think is chip is bad. The ecm is working with obd. Any info or help is welcome Tnx for any support. Should look different for 0x100..0x3FF Maybe you did not read it as 1k eeprom? If it is the real content and not a read error, then car might not start because of eeprom checksum issue. Find attatched your eeprom file with correct content after 0x100 and try... I Had to read it out again with a other spi reader. now my readed new file is the same as your fixed file. I think this ecu is bad. hardwarefault. if i get a donor ecu. can i flash this donor with the files i hade in my first post? or do i only need to program the eprom in the donor ecu? Always flash both. Volvo uses lots of different software versions on same ecu number. Best regards |
