Title: 8p S3 TFSI to R32 swap Post by: precision on December 09, 2024, 09:16:17 AM Hi Guys
As per the subject, I am currently swapping my CDL S3 to an AXZ R32 both run a MED9.1 ecu 2L TFSI MED9.1 8p0 907 115 aq R32 03h 906 032 I cannot really find out if the pins for the the ECU's are the same, i've gotten the circuit flow diagram for the R32 and the harness that came with the engine was almost 90 percent intact except for the T14 plug, I am currently trying to cross reference the 2L TFSI circuit flow but I cannot find anything CDL only BWA ect. I would like to ask if anyone is aware if the ECUs have any pin out differences as the plugs both attached fine, but before I go attaching power and popping something Id like to just double check the diagrams or if I can just connect I do understand there is 2 extra coils and injectors and so on, but I'm not certain how they have pinned it on the T14 plug, from looking at the BWA flow vs the AXZ flow diagrams everything seems to be the same except for boost related pins If anyone can assist it would be much appreciated. Thanks Title: Re: 8p S3 TFSI to R32 swap Post by: MirXas on December 09, 2024, 11:46:03 AM Attached CDLA from MY2009 and AXZ from MY2006 engine diagrams. For CDLA look for T14, AXZ - T14a.

Thank you very much, quick run over everything it seems they share a few pins, on N80 and a few other sensors, but looks like Ill be doing alot of repinning for T60 connector and running new wires for coils. Great help! Title: Re: 8p S3 TFSI to R32 swap Post by: MirXas on December 09, 2024, 02:59:11 PM Why not buy a complete wiring harness ? At least the engine side. Just plug the T60 connector and only mess with the chassis side T94. Also keep in mind that AXZ had some differences before and after MY2007.

You are correct sorry I meant the T94 side, engine loom is full intact at least just the T14 for coil power and oil pressure and fuel that needs to be changed |
