Title: Unitronics workaround Post by: indyawpjetta on December 21, 2024, 06:43:35 PM Has anyone found a workaround to read a Unitronics tuned ecu. I am a total noob at all of this and just want to try and add nls and a 2step
Title: Re: Unitronics workaround Post by: rzyao on December 22, 2024, 03:02:08 PM if your car is chipped you'll probably need to buy a spare ECU (easy) or solder the original flash chip back (hard). My giac chip let me read but I never tried flashing since a spare ECU was $40, but if you can't read and boot mode doesn't help you'll probably need to start from scratch. If you replace the ECU I think you need to recode the immobilizer in boot mode anyways

They were deleted but the dtc still pops up If they were properly deleted they wouldn't pop up. Open the ecu and see if it has a standard flash chip, if it does you can read it out in boot mode without fucking up the file. Make your mods Prokon and eskonf are going to be the blocks you will need to edit to keep the light off and retain your long term fuel trims. Just hiding codes with CLA will disable your ltft's Title: Re: Unitronics workaround Post by: indyawpjetta on December 26, 2024, 10:01:54 PM Thanks much appreciated but now my damn Amazon Kkl cable quit working.
