Title: 4bar FPR on a 3bar OEM fuel pump (1.8t) Post by: doktor on April 03, 2025, 03:12:40 PM I consider this a noob question even though I was not able to find much info.
Is the original fuel pump fine with a 4bar FPR? Some say no problem, others say it will fail soon. Is the OEM pump different between 1.8t engines or do all share the same type? Do the cars with an original 4bar FPR have a different pump? Thanks Title: Re: 4bar FPR on a 3bar OEM fuel pump (1.8t) Post by: dal on April 05, 2025, 05:21:30 AM OEM new or OEM with 20+ years of use?

Dont want to go a bigger injector route due to price and mapping problems, also the injector choice for a large port 150HP manifold seems to be a bit limited...?

Car is approaching 100k miles. No problems, but then I don't run hard very often. I did install an adjustable pressure regulator and gauge. I'm also running this with the stock KO3, the new BW KO4 is still sitting on my bench, lol.
