Title: Audi 8l 1.8t AUM Problem Post by: Ljanva93 on April 16, 2025, 02:42:44 PM Hi guys, for few months I have big problem with my Audi, first I saw that my temperature gauge is stuck on 60 deegrese when I turn inignition on (cold engine), then I ride it till the fan started to work and see on VCDS that coolant temp is 90 deegres, but gauge is still stuck on 60. I have changed termostat and coolant temperature sensor, that wasnt doing any changes. Second problem, or maybe its connected with first, is that the revs in neutral (manual trans) on cold and hot start goes from 800 to almost 0 and that happens 20 seconds from starting engine what can cause that? Also I had dtc for fuel mixture to rich before 10 days, now the dtc is gone. I get black exhaust like its diesel but no smoke goes out. And somethimes while driving I get some misfires too. When the problems started I changed cam and crank sensors, new timing belt, new r8 coils, new ngk iridium spark plugs, SAI and n249 delete, put oil catchcan, done lambda off. And now Im stuck with these problems after trying everything. Did you have those or similar problems?

2. For your gauge problem, check the sensor wiring and/or gauge cluster. 3. Have you disabled lambda 1 or 2, and why? 4. Oil drain valve, OK. Note that the ECU takes into account the PCV system flow rate, so modify the file if you deleted it. 5. Check lambda values with VCDS or other 6.20 seconds of memory is the activation time of the SAI... |
