Title: Launch control without ignition cut? How to make?
Post by: BlackT on May 15, 2025, 09:27:31 PM
I want to make launch control that build up boost but without ignition cut. Or at least not with tsrldyn=0
Maybe selective ignition cut?

Beacuse now when I set ignition retard to -15 I build some serious boost (2+ bar) but when I reach target RPM and ignition cut comes in,  bangs from exhaust are ernoumus loud. I want to avoid that beacuse it make damage to turbo and exhaust valves

I want to achieve something like Golf 7 R have or rally cars

1. Modify NMAX on the fly and set it to target.
2. As you get close to NMAX retard ignition
3. As you get close to NMAX make a map based on delta RPM and blend out up to half the cylinders using redsol, rest is done by throttle.

and on the launch 2 step me7 coding? I've never tried, if we define launch rpm at 15000 there are no more ignition cuts but can we combine it with the soft limiter of the s4wiki? more clearly have nls antilag launch but with fuel cut? I imagine that in the coding this must be possible. it's just to better understand the operation and possibly not burn my oem valves as wellor burn them when I want ;D

I posted exactly what the Golf 7R or e.g. DAZA does.

Thank you very much, redsol is what I was looking for
