Title: 032HJ 1.8t error 17705 with S3 MAF
Post by: zCruuz on May 19, 2025, 06:53:14 AM
So after waking the car from hibernation, i decided to finally install the MAF Housing from a BAM.
I installed the therefore needed silicone hose to fit the MAF on the K04-001, fitted the sensor element from the small maf in the housing and put the airbox from an VR5 on.
Maps i copied from a 018BH are MLHFM, KFKHFM, KFMLDMN and KFMLDMX

Now i randomly get the error Code and get a limp: 17705- pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve
- it only appears when the engine is warm
- i can't reproduce/force it to happen
- i pressure and smoke tested the car with no detected leaks
- i fitted a different diverter valve, but it didn't change a thing

when i fit the small maf housing with an adapter to the silicone hose, i don't get the error/limp mode.

What should i log to determine the reason of this?

KFVPDKDLD multiply by 1.3
LKVDKMN = 9999

Is disabling diagnosis the only way? Or just not worth the effort of hunting some random shit?
