Title: ME7.5 Won't turn off after ingition off
Post by: Sigutek on June 14, 2025, 06:46:30 AM
Hello!

I got problem with my Golf 4. I swap engine to 1.8T AGU on engine harness from ARZ golf 4 and ECU from audi a3 32HJ soft 0002 and now its problem with not turning off ECU (Still can connect with VCDS after ingnition off). I got 4 ECUs (32AS, 32DR) ME7.5 and only from Seat Alhambra (32GT) can turn off. I check everything, PIN 3 loss voltage after ingniton off, PIN 62 has always voltage, the pin 21 its grounded after ingition on but after ingnition off its still grounded although it should be ungrounded (on ECU from Seat its working well). I flash original soft, original eeprom. I thought that some module was keeping him from falling asleep, so i put only power supply pins (3,21,62) and still not working. Guys please help me, i've been working on this for 8 days now and I have no idea what it could be.
Thank you in advance (sorry for my language, i from Poland and i still learning :D)

I probably solved the problem. With the help of my friend, we corrected the soldering on logical circuit 30343 and it started working. it doesn't turn off immediately, but after 10 minutes, but it works. I send my ECU to service and we'll see what they say and I'll give you an answer, maybe it will be useful to someone.

That is normal, ECU stay awake for some time

Yes, I understand, but as I wrote above, although not specifying it precisely, the ECU (32HJ) did not turn off at all. For example, I gave an ECU (32GT) that turned off after 20 seconds, mine was still in standby mode after an hour. ECUs (32DR,32AS) turned off after 5-8 minutes. I think this is a unique case that happens so rarely that there is no information about it on the forums, but I wanted to seek advice but in the meantime my friend helped me with this case
