VCDS is for diagnostics only, and the Lite version is just a more stripped-down version of the full tool. You will not be doing any calibration reading or writing with it at all.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk As a matter of fact, reading out a full file from anything older than ME7 requires a chip burner, removing the chip, and soldering in a socket. The ECU can be port-flashed using the tool I made or with MPPS—those are your only options for writing to that ECU. So, to sum it up: you're trying to use a VAG diagnostic tool that does not have the ability to read or write calibration data, to read an ECU that will not yield a full read through standard procedures. A patched version of MonoScan or a broken CMD script is floating around that does a partial read—along with a bunch of other garbage data. Unless you already have a stock file and plan on rebuilding the file you're attempting to read by patching calibration into that stock file, those partial reads are useless and cannot be directly flashed back to the ECU. P.S. Notice how I’m the only one replying? Yeah, most established members who know what they’re doing aren’t going to waste their time on someone who can’t do the bare minimum to educate themselves. All the information is on this forum. It may not be categorized or organized for a generation with the attention span of a goldfish, but if you put in the effort, you can figure it out.
