Title: Help me get LTFT right, ME7.5.10 Post by: markus2900 on September 11, 2025, 09:32:16 AM Hello, I recently started a project on my VW Golf 1.4 16v BCA, where i changed the intake, changed injectors for bigger ones and now i'm trying to scale KRTKE and TVUB right but i can't seem to zero out.
Biggest problem is i can't find any values on these injectors online. I only know something about the old ones, just not much about the new... - big problem. What I changed: KRKTE - original 0.1963 - to 0.1280 TVUB original 6,97 8,026 9,997 11,968 14,01 V 2,0864 1,5072 0,9184 0,608 0,4096 ms NEW VALUES 3,1617 2,2840 1,3917 0,9214 0,6207 ms TEMIN 0.4992 to 0.3296 All these values were based off a calculation i did with a spreadsheet for calculating KRKTE.. I tried it with stock TVUB and with the TVUB suggested by the spreadsheet - i have to because i can't get TVUB of the bigger injectors. The injectors i had in my car 036906031G - they are magnetti marelli IWP... a bosch equivalent has 90g/min - which would be around 125cc/min - KVB in my XDF file says 131cc/min tho. I put in injectors from 1.6 16v 036906031T - also magnetti and bosch equivalent of these has 137g/min - which would be 190.3cc/min So i scaled everything off these values. And what i got is 5%+ LTFT with rough idle - sounds like it's too rich on idle. Someone suggested here that i should try KRKTE 0.1643 which apparently works well with stock tvub.. well that got me -14% LTFT and very very bad idle.. so i tried with a calculator. Unfortunately due to my ECU having like 6 definitions in ME7Logger i can't basically log anything using it. So I'm stuck using VCDS logging. - I was thinking if theres a way to extract locations to me7logger from the VCDS label file. I'm kind of stuck at this because i don't know if i should scale TVUB or KRKTE, or something else. Also - the change wasnt done on the stock file. Because my car already has a stage1 - faster throttle body responce and only slight changes to lamfa, kfzwop, kflbts etc.. but these changes are in a 2-3% margin and i don't think they are the culprit of affecting my LFTF - BUT IM NOT SURE. During the intake swap i had to change to a magnetti marelli MAP sensor instead of bosch one i had but they should show the same values. they are for the same car. I noticed tho one maxxes out on 980mbar and one on 950mbar.. MY CAR DOESNT HAVE MAF. Can i get some suggestions... you can yell at me how badly i did this or what i am doing wrong.... i'm still trying to learn tunes on NA engines. Thanks for anything. I will attach my log file of group 032, 033 and 02. Also some other log files if i find.
