Title: KFRLATR -- what use would it have..???
Post by: littco on August 13, 2012, 09:34:58 AM
Minimum load for exhaust temperature control KFRLATR

Its a 5*5 map. RPM v 100%

Its in relation to CATR and EGT control..

Files I've looked at it's all 0 but assume you can put in the minimum load for the activation of EGT protection.

Thus if you wanted EGT protection to only be active over say a load of 191 then you would set 191 at the relevant points.

Any idea why this table is there, what purpose it would be used I understand it's function just not its application? answers on a postcard.

Have you searched the FR for it? I'll dig around time permitting.

Yes , I was reading up on CATR and saw a list of related maps including this one, there wasn't much info on it and considering my stock BAM was 0 across the table I just wondered if it actually had a practical use to tunning and if it didn't why it was a map at all.
