Title: Honda Type R 2.0T MED17 Multi-Map Switch Post by: why on December 20, 2025, 11:37:16 PM Can Honda's MED17 be modified to include a multi-map switch like VW's, to accommodate different fuel types and boost requests? I haven't found any information online!
Title: Re: Honda Type R 2.0T MED17 Multi-Map Switch Post by: tunerga on December 30, 2025, 04:47:22 AM It's definitely possible to create a simple solution with a power level selection between Normal and Sport/R modes, as you have separate maps: one for MDMAXNMOT (Maximum Indicated Torque for overpower protection) and the other for Sport/R mode (MDMAXNMOTS -Maximum Indicated Torque for Sports mode). As for custom code to create such a full-fledged multimap, the assembler/Ghidra guys would have to comment.
